Exhibition
Enter is AVM’s debut of new work since the birth of her son. After over a year of being underground, AVM invites the viewer to literally enter into her world, the elusive indescribable world of abstract expressionism. Experience total immersion into abstract art. Opening Reception: Thursday Nov. 2nd 2023 at Mid Main Lofts; 6pm - 10pm.
Portal
Portal is a work that embodies what Enter Series is trying to capture: a lure into another dimension. Art has the ability to do this; the ability to draw the viewer in, to look deeper within the four borders of a frame + deeper into themselves. Portal invites the viewer to unveil each layer, doing so, draws the deeper into another world: themselves.

“Born Free,” the featured work from IMPETUS 2022, represents our original essence and nature, our birthright—that we are all born free.
This statement is a reminder to myself, of this inherent truth, existent always.

Impetus 1 & 2, along with four other large scale paintings, were created specially to showcase as window displays at Mid Main Gallery. They were made, slowly but surely, during AVM’s first trimester of pregnancy, and featured in her solo exhibition: IMPETUS at Mid Main Gallery.
